WOO X partners with Mercuryo for fiat conversions

Users can now buy crypto with a credit card on WOO X, the first step towards improving the onboarding experience for traders

WOO X has opened an easy and secure way to allow users to buy cryptocurrency with fiat via third-party payment gateway Mercuryo.

Mercuryo is one of the leading independent fintech platforms providing services for both fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies, and it has cooperated with more than 120 exchanges and blockchain projects including Binance, 1inch, and Nexo.

An important milestone on the path to adoption

More complete solutions are essential to onboarding users from all over the world.

At the first stage, only Visa and MasterCard (virtual, debit, and credit cards) are acceptable for buying cryptocurrencies on WOO X. Currently you can spend EUR, USD, GBP, and BRL for purchasing USDT, which can then be used to trade on WOO X. WOO X plans to onboard multiple vendors and payment methods for fiats and cryptocurrency conversions in the upcoming future. This includes features like support for additional fiat currencies, direct bank transfers, and more.

Users can click the Buy Crypto button in the Wallet Tab

Is it open to everyone? WOO X’s Buy Crypto feature is currently open to all registered users of at least KYC level 2 or higher who are not in our current list of unsupported countries. Additionally, due to regulations, users from the Netherlands, Germany, or UAE are restricted from using Buy Crypto. WOO Network is working to acquire licenses allowing the platform to provide fiat services to more regions and users.

After purchase, the cryptocurrency you buy will be deposited into your WOO X account usually within 1 hour. However, times may vary depending on the blockchain network congestion and other factors.
